La marque d'amplificateur de guitare Soldano fut fondée en 1986 par Michael Soldano à Los Angeles puis fut relocalisée plus tard à Seattle. L'enseigne est réputée pour ses amplis à haut gain tels que le fameux SLO-100. Tous les modèles sont à lampes en classe AB et il est à noter que le design du SLO a été réalisé à partir d'un Marshall Plexi modifié.
